This page provides a comprehensive walkthrough on how to connect your own repository to Y42, covering both GitHub and GitLab platforms. Whether you're starting with a new repository or integrating an existing dbt project, these step-by-step instructions will ensure a seamless setup process.

Connect your Github repository

To connect your GitHub to Y42, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Create a new GitHub repository
  2. Authorize Y42 with the repository
  3. Select the repository in Y42

Create a new GitHub repository

We recommend creating a new GitHub repository every time you set up a new space with Y42. This prevents errors in the set-up process.

If you have an existing dbt project, you can use it directly. However, it will need to meet the standard dbt project structure in order to be correctly read by Y42. Learn more → (opens in a new tab)
